Here's wishing a lovely Christmas for all our readers, and a happy and healthy 2006!

Many thanks to all those who have helped with the site - posting comments in the forums or giving us feedback - but special thanks also to our forum moderators for their sterling efforts!

Coming up on the News Index over the holiday will be a look back at the year, in terms of microprocessors and the battle between AMD and Intel, a review of the year for the Internet search giants, Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft, a look at the development of Linux in 2005 and a security overview for the year. We shall also be looking into the future and laying out a mystical roadmap for 2006.
