Posted on 11 Jan 2006 at 08:53
Apple has released an iPod software update that adds support for the new FM radio remote control to compatible players.
iPod Updater 2006-01-10 provides new software for the current 5G iPod and the iPod nano as well as the 4G iPod with colour display, iPod mini and iPod with click wheel. It also delivers several bug fixes.
iTunes 6.0.2 provides stability and performance improvements.
QuickTime 7.0.4 delivers bug fixes, support for iLife '06, and H.264 performance improvements. It also addresses several security issues where maliciously crafted image and media files could enable the execution of arbitrary code. For a full list of security fixes go to www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n303101. Apple notes that the update is highly recommended for all QuickTime 7 users.
All updates are available via Software Update or from www.apple.com/support/downloads.
