We've seen the USB mug warmer, but what about cold drinks? With CoolIt Systems' USB Beverage Cooler you can wave goodbye to warm Coke.

It looks like the mug warmer we reviewed in Shopper October 2005, but the metal plate, which is just larger than a can, stays at 7C. It doesn't take long to cool down and it kept our can of Coke cool while we were drinking it. It even made a warm can drinkable in just 10 minutes.

It works really well, but it's very loud, so you won't want to leave it on all the time. However, you can only turn it off by unplugging it. As a useful way of keeping your drinks cool, though, we love it.
