The Lindys may be the cheapest speakers in this test, but they are also the worst

Our Rating
If we were handing out prizes for the ugliest speakers on test, the Lindy's would be at the front of the queue. Their bland looks are only the tip of the iceberg, though.
Despite being tiny, Lindy claims that the speakers have 120W of power. That would be impressive if it weren't marketing guff. About 5W of real power would be nearer the mark. The sound quality from these little beige speakers was nothing short of astonishing. Astonishingly bad that is. There was hardly any bass or treble and our finest quality CDs sounded like crackly broadcasts over an AM radio.
Despite costing under a tenner, the Lindys just aren't worth it. To add insult to injury the headphone socket on the right-hand speaker was slightly recessed, which was enough to prevent us plugging in one of our more chunky pairs of headphones. Cheap and decidedly cheerless.
Avoid these Lindy speakers like the plague.
