Posted on 15 Nov 2006 at 08:48
Apple is hosting a free seminar for architects at its Regent Street store, where it will show how they can get the most out of Intel Macs and third-party software.
The top-of-the range Mac Pro, for instance, which costs £600 less than comparable systems, according to Apple, and is capable of running both Mac and Windows applications. Running Archicad 10 Mac users can produce auto-synchronised construction documents (plans, elevations and sections) and work seamlessly with standard DWG files and formats. Plus, with OS X's Spotlight technology, users can search inside DWG files to find blocks, layers, XRef's, line styles or dimension styles.
The free seminar takes place on Thursday 14 December at 7pm. To reserve a seat go to apple.com/uk/business/architecture.
