Verdict:

Finally, we see a competitive card from Nvidia’s new range. It’s not a clear cut winner, but at a chunk less cash than the HD 5850 this card is well worth considering.

Our 3D gaming benchmarks test gaming performance in Crysis, which remains one of the most challenging games available. We also run Call of Duty 4, the popular online shooter, as its graphical detail equates roughly to that found in modern console titles. Both tests are run at 1,680x1,050 resolution, with 4x anti-aliasing and high detail levels, and we quote the average frame rate. The scores are compared to our current reference graphics card, the ATI HD 5770.
