Creative's Aurvana Live!
is a set of high-end headphones. Audio quality is excellent, with vibrant bass, mid-range and treble in perfect balance and clarity. We couldn't fault performance. It was warm and detailed in its reproduction of everything from orchestral music to metal.
We also liked the headphones' design and build quality. They look like a typical set of cans but are lighter than most, something we appreciated during extended listening sessions. The cups can swivel on the headband and the size adjusters hold them securely in place. Extras are limited to a drawstring carrying pouch, an extension lead and a in converter for the 3.5mm jack plug.
They don't do much to block out ambient noise or keep others from hearing your music, so are best suited to a quiet room. Still, with their comfort and exquisite audio quality, they're our Best Buy for home listening.
