This is a good keyboard and mouse set, but it’s also very expensive and similar quality alternatives such as Logitech’s MK520 are better value.

Logitech’s stylish MK710 keyboard benefits from smooth-action keys that feel great to type on. However, as with the cheaper Logitech MK520 there’s no Context key, which is a real shame.

Media shortcut buttons are found at the top of the keyboard, with a small LCD screen sitting in-between. The benefits of the LCD are limited, however, as it only displays basic information, such as battery life and the num-lock status. A large padded wrist rest is attached to the keyboard and feels good, but it’s a shame it can’t be removed for those who don’t like it.

The right-handed mouse is well-weighted and has a great design, slanting gently to the right and with a comfortable thumb grip. Its scroll wheel can be switched between standard and free-flowing modes using a dedicated button on the top; the free-flowing mode is particularly useful when scrolling through long documents at speed. The mouse also benefits from three thumb-activated buttons.

It's an excellent keyboard and mouse set, but the largely pointless LCD screen adds a lot of cost and means that the much cheaper Logitech Wireless Combo MK520 is the better choice.
