Apple has released an update for the MacBook Air that addresses problems with video playback and processor core idling.
The company does not specify the issues that the update fixes, but it does note that users who have installed software to modify processor operating characteristics such as frequency and voltage should remove the software before installing the update.
MacBook Air Update is available from apple.com/support/downloads.
