Posted on 11 Dec 2008 at 08:30
Apple has released a pair of firmware updates for the new MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air notebooks that it introduced in October.
The EFI update fixes several issues to improve the stability of the Macs and that is all the information that Apple has so far provided. It remains to be seen whether the update fixes reported issues with failed trackpad clicks, display corruptions and the keyboard.
Apple has provided more specific information about the SMC update, which improves the sensing and accuracy of the MagSafe power adapter indicator light as well as the battery charge indicator lights on the MacBook and Pro models.
All updates are available via Software Update or from apple.com/support/downloads.
