If you're moving around a lot, you won't just need a PC with a long battery life, you also want a system capable of standing up to the rigours of the road. Fortunately, the Dell Inspiron 2650 fits the bill nicely. It's chunky and solid, the lid is durable enough to protect the screen and there are no annoying little flaps or hatches to get knocked off.
All in all, this is a cracking budget laptop with loads of really useful features and more power than a Rolls Royce. Shame it's not just a wee bit lighter.
