Toshiba announces multimedia playback device with built-in hard disk
Posted on 10 Feb 2010 at 18:16
Toshiba has announced its STORE.E TV+ multimedia hard disk, which will let you play music, videos and photos directly on your TV in a similar way to the WD TV Live.
The device will have an HDMI output and support 1080p resolutions, and come with a choice of 1TB, 1.5TB or 2TB hard disk. Ethernet and wireless will be built-in as standard, and we assume that these will let the STORE.E TV+ stream content from other devices on the network.
The product won't be released until the Q3 this year, so full specs and a price were not available.
