Razer DeathAdder review
Verdict:
A superbly designed and sensitive gaming mouse, the only thing that lets the DeathAdder down is the awkwardly-placed button for switching profiles.

Our Rating
Razer's DeathAdder might look like it would suit both left- and right-handed users, but subtle curves in the design and the placement of two buttons on the left mean it's for right-handers only. Razer's done a good job with the ergonomics and the mouse fits comfortably in the palm, while the soft blue glow of the scroll wheel looks impressive, as does the pulsating Razer logo.
Up to five profiles can also be set using the software, each with its own shortcut actions, DPI levels (450dpi to 3,500dpi) and polling rates (how often the mouse scans for movement) of between 125 and 1,000 per second. However, switching profiles isn't easy since the button resides on the underside of the mouse; we'd prefer to see a dedicated profile button on the top.
In use, the mouse is incredibly comfortable with just the right amount of feedback and pressure on all of well-placed buttons. It's a great mouse, but the disappointingly-placed profile switcher buttons let it down.
