CM Storm Sentinel Advance review
Verdict:
The CM Storm Sentinel Advance is a great mouse, but Steelseries' Ikari Laser Mouse costs a similar amount and is much more comfortable.

Our Rating
CM Storm's Sentinel Advance gaming mouse has a typically futuristic moulded design that feels a bit flat in the hand, but our fingers felt comfortable on all the buttons.
A weight system lets you add up to 22.5g of extra ballast, and there are two side buttons, two buttons just behind the scroll wheel to change sensitivity, and a button in front of the wheel for selecting profiles. The wheel has a light ratchet action and a rubber grip that is comfortable to use.
The Sentinel is capable of resolutions up to 5,600dpi, but you can switch between five presets that go as low as 1,100dpi. The bundled PC software lets you tweak even further, creating custom sensitivity settings for both x- and y-axis, as well as controlling the lights and the small OLED display. You can then save your custom settings to the mouse's own onboard memory.
It's a great mouse, but Steelseries' Ikari Laser Mouse costs a similar amount and is much more comfortable.
