Keeping the Legend alive

Screen protection
My final protective gadget is designed to protect my phone from being damaged by whatever random sharp objects I might happen be carrying around in my pockets. You'd be surprised. Proporta's Advanced Screen Protector for HTC Legend went on with remarkable ease – it was even a simple matter to get the bubbles out. The screen protector is removable (with some effort) and washable.
As well as protecting against scratches, the matt finish reduced glare and prevented the screen from picking up fingerprints. However, it won't be to everyone's taste, as it gives your display a slightly dull and grainy appearance. Despite this, I'm sticking with it for the moment, particularly given my fear of the havoc that pocket change could wreak upon my phone's screen.

Verdict
For me, the most important things are decent insurance and screen protection. Another priority is remembering not to take it to unreasonably dangerous places (volcanoes, the ocean floor, the front row at a Cannibal Corpse gig...).
Cases are a nice idea but I'll need to find one that both looks good and works well before I settle. The leather case I tested looked nice enough but was appallingly badly made, while the silicone Mizu Shell felt weird and made my phone look ugly. As the Legend in its unadorned form not only looks very lovely but seems to be quite sturdy, I'm going to take my chances and go without a case for now.

The Legend needs to be naked.
Kat - The Legend needs to be naked.
OK, I admit, I carry mine around in an official HTC form fitting plastic condom to save it from the accidental touch of concrete or keys, but when using it for anything other than a few swipes and it's just better to go bareback.
The aluminium feels far more sensual compared to what can only be described as a crass-plastic paperweight with it on.
PS Hahaha sorry for rudeness.

Thanks for the info on the Proporta web-site - I hadn't come across it before, and am impressed with their range of products.
I've just ordered a Proporta screen protector for an HTC Desire. I'll have to see if it's as good as The Invisible Shield, my previous favourite.
