Spotify (£9.99 per month)
Technically, Spotify is a free app, but you'll need to be a Premium user (£9.99 a month) in order to listen to music. The app lets you listen to tracks over 3G or WiFi, plus store music on your phone for offline listening.
You can create your own playlists and search through thousands of tracks to find the music that you want to listen to. Your account means that you can listen to music on any supported device, such as your desktop PC, too. Simply put, Spotify is the best streaming music service and the Android app is a great way to get access to all of that music.
Record It (£2.89)
Record It lets you remotely programme your Sky+ or Sky+ HD box, so you'll never miss another show again. Its simple interface lets you browser through the schedules or search for a programme by name.
You then click the Record It button and your Sky box is set within 30 minutes to record the show. It's a brilliant way to make sure you always get to watch the TV you want.
