This bonkers Virgin Mobile deal gets you the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, 150GB of data, a smartwatch, earbuds and a tablet for just £44/mth
Virgin Mobile deals don’t get much better than this extraordinary bundle: the 128GB version of the four-star Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (“Fan Edition”), 150GB of mobile data, a four-star Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch, a pair of four-star Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds and a Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 tablet for £44/mth on a three-year contract. Phew! By our reckoning, those freebies add up to a stunning £607.
But Virgin Mobile hasn’t finished yet: if you trade in your old phone before 7 June 2022, you could get an extra £100 cashback on top of your old handset’s recycle value. The process is straightforward too, with no irritating hoops to jump through.
This is quite simply the best Virgin Mobile deal on offer at the moment – where else can you get this much superb Samsung kit for free? The caveat is that the contract lasts for three years, but, as you’ll see below, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be more than capable of seeing you through that time.
Let’s tackle the headline device first: the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. It might not belong to the newer S22 family, but it was still released earlier this year and is an excellent device. We awarded it four stars in our in-depth review, highlighting its snazzy design, impressive performance and vivid HDR display. Our main reservations were with the comparatively short 15-hour battery life and high asking price, although this delicious deal blows the latter out of the water.
We also gave the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch (worth £269) four stars in our review. In particular, we were fans of its performance punch, expanded selection of apps and new health features. In fact, in the words of our review, “if you’re a loyal Samsung customer who always has a Samsung smartphone, there’s no doubt this is the best smartwatch you can buy”. High praise indeed.
To continue the theme, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds (worth £139) were the worthy recipients of four stars in our review. We liked their active noise cancellation, Samsung-specific tools, comfortable design and bassy wallop. They’re the ideal companion for morning commutes, gym workouts or simply chilling on the sofa.
Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 Wi-Fi (worth £219). We haven’t managed to get this tablet into our labs for testing, but it has a roomy 10.5in display, decent claimed battery life, useful multi-window function and a stylish design. Again, it’s perfect for catching up on your favourite TV series.
As you can probably tell, this Virgin Mobile deal has bowled us over. You’re not just getting a great smartphone with reams of data, but a whole Samsung ecosystem that will let you track your vital statistics, listen to the latest tunes and stream on the move.
