O2 has announced that it has secured the UK rights to the Palm Prē and will begin exclusively selling the smartphone in time for Christmas.
Jonathan Earle, O2’s head of Consumer Marketing, said that Prē has two features that will especially appeal, the full touchscreen and the pull-out, qwerty keyboard.
The Palm Prē is a fantastic, innovative, smart phone and builds on the idea that smartphones are the future and make our customers lives a lot easier
O2’s parent company, Telefónica, has also secure the Prē rights in Ireland, Spain and Germany. Earle said that the Spanish firm is becoming the home of the smartphone.
