Porn app store for Android phones opens its doors
Posted on 1 Dec 2009 at 11:30
An app store has opened selling pornographic software for Android smartphones.
Google's official app store for smartphones running its Android operating system, the Android Market, currently forbids the sale of adult entertainment software. Apple has a similar policy in place for its iPhone App Store. Private American company MiKandi has launched its own app store for Android phones selling what it describes as 'the hottest apps, uncensored exclusive videos, games and more'.
MiKandi's terms of use states that the store is restricted to users aged 18 or older and that one "may be exposed to content that is inaccurate, offensive, indecent, or objectionable". The company plans to bring versions of its adult app store to Windows Mobile phones and Java-compatible feature phones some time next year.
