Our Rating
Subtitled the Mobile Media Companion, the Hewlett-Packard iPAQ rx3715 uses Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, where the Today screen gives instant access to images, videos and sounds stored on the PDA.
HP also includes software that lets you control your hi-fi equipment using infrared - a winner for anyone with a surplus of remote controls.
The rx3715 has 152MB of RAM, more than we've seen on any other PDA. An SD card slot enables further upgrades.
With Bluetooth and 802.11b WiFi, the rx3715 has no trouble communicating wirelessly.
But none of these features is beyond the reach of other devices. Better deals can be found elsewhere.
