EJSE HAL9000 review

Just when you thought it was safe to trust computers, here's a reminder of what can happen when they go wrong.

The HAL9000 program places the single red eye of the computer HAL from the film 2001: A Space Odyssey on your Palm screen, and every so often he'll say something meaningless, such as "I've just picked up a fault in the AE35 unit".

Tap HAL's eye and he starts to become aggressive. "Just what do you think you're doing?" "I don't think I'll let you do that." You can just hear the air-lock doors opening.
