Our Rating
Jabra's BT205 is an entry-level Bluetooth headset.
It has Jabra's distinctive curved behind-the-ear design and is reasonably comfortable to wear, although not quite as unobtrusive as an ordinary hands-free kit. Setting it up with an Orange SPV C500 was a simple matter of holding down the talk button for a few seconds before searching for the headset in the phone's Bluetooth menu and pairing the two devices.
The buttons on the rear of the headset for answering calls and adjusting volume are easy to use, but sound quality is not the best. Voices sound muffled, and the person on the other end of the line is subjected to plenty of background noise from the BT205's microphone. Overall, though, it's not bad for a cheap device.
