Iiyama ProLite B2712HDS review

Verdict:

The B2712HDS cuts an imposing figure on your desk, but image quality isn't the best and unless you want a single, large monitor, you're better off buying two smaller ones.

Bigger rather than More pixels might be good

Think about what you've said and imagine the practicalities. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be. I still ike to operate my computer without my glasses, so a 27" screen would be better for me than a 22", even if i could get two of them side by side on my desk. The 27" will be taller, and whilst it may not get any more pixels, it will be easier for me to read.
And its not twice the resolution that you are getting, its twice the pixel count. There isn't much that is better that wide.

Does expertreviews.co.uk have something against Iiyama?

Day 2 owning a ProLite B2712HDS, home use to replace a monitor on the only PC in the house and added a TV card to the PC to give us two tv's.
The Iiyama screen is fantastic great colour no degradation of quality well worth the money. Unless you are using this Screen professionaly when you need to us a magnify glass to check your work or sit with you nose 5cm away from the screen you will not need those "two 22in Full HD monitors".
expertreviews.co.uk get off your high horse this is a great monitor for the money.
