Our Rating
Foxconn's 6150K8MD-8EKRSH is a Socket 939 microATX motherboard. Socket 939 has been replaced by Socket AM2, but this type of board will let you upgrade to PCI Express without buying a new processor.
The microATX size means there is less room for expansion than on a standard ATX board, but the 6150K8MD-8EKRSH has most things you need built in. It includes gigabit Ethernet, four SATA II ports and integrated graphics with DVI and D-sub connectors. This lets you run two monitors without a separate graphics card.
The 6150K8MD-8EKRSH performed well in our benchmarks. It was quicker than MSI's RS482M4-ILD in all our tests and a huge 32 points ahead in our video-encoding test. It's overall score was 16 points ahead of the MSI board. Its 3D performance was reasonable and it ran Call of Duty 2 over 3fps quicker than the other Socket 939 motherboard. It is the best Socket 939 motherboard here.
