PodGear's is the second worst House Party after Noel's. This set of portable speakers for your iPod also acts as a docking station with a USB port. It certainly looks the part and your iPod sits neatly in the middle of the speakers.

Unfortunately, turning it on ruins any illusions of quality. The sound is terrible and the speakers make all your music sound as if it's coming from a car radio with the aerial missing. There's no bass, it distorts at high volume and the range is pitiful. The small metal volume controls look like decoration, so it took us a while to find them. This may be cheap, but it needs better speakers if it's to do well.
