Burning Love Pod Pouch review

Verdict:

Review Date: 29 Nov 2006

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Our Rating 3 stars out of 5

The Burning Love Pod Pouch sounds like a reason to visit the doctor; it's actually a simple pouch that protects an iPod from scratches.

Each pouch is made from synthetic fur in various outrageous colours and patterns, with a quilted polyester lining that reminds us of the cosy insides of a Parka. Various sizes fit the iPod Nano, Mini and full-sized 30GB or 60GB players.

The Pod Pouch is thicker than the standard slip-pouch supplied with recent iPods and iPod Nanos, so it should offer shock protection. The fit is snug, leaving the top of the iPod close to the pouch's neck. You'd get better protection from a hard case or a longer pouch with a drawstring, but the Pod Pouch is well made and distinctive.
