Scrivener might not suit everyone. There's a gentle (and short) learning curve and some people might prefer to stick to what they know. However, the time spent adapting to Scrivener and reading through the extensive tutorial that comes with it is time well spent. For under 20 quid, this application (its creator's first) is great value and comes highly recommended.
