This two-disc set includes The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers and The Official DSA Guide to Hazard Perception. The latter is an interactive DVD, while the former is a fully fledged PC program.

The Hazard Perception DVD is hamstrung by limited interactivity. It consists of practice videos and a hazard perception simulator. The videos lack interaction, but they are clearer than others and well narrated.

The hazard perception simulator mimics the one in the theory test. After each clip you're given your score and a detailed analysis of the hazards. The clips are more testing than in other titles and the analysis more comprehensive, even if it is not tailored to your performance.

The Official DSA Theory Test for Car Drivers helps you prepare for the theory test by offering tailored revision sessions based on actual questions, with explanations of the correct answers. Once you feel confident you can take a mock test, then analyse your progress and focus further revision on problem areas. There are no further learning aids, however, which would have helped inexperienced drivers get to grips with the material.
