New Sony netbook leaked by retailers
Posted on 4 Mar 2010 at 13:34
Sony's latest netbook design has been unveiled by numerous major retailers, despite the new M-Series model not yet appearing on Sony's own site. The VPC-M11M1E/B is available for a very reasonable-looking £299 from www.tesco.com.
The new netbook is based on Intel's N450 Atom proessor, which has an integrated graphics core for superior battery life. A 250GB hard disk is fitted, with Windows 7 Starter Edition installed, and there's 1GB of RAM. Built-in 802.11n wireless is accompanied by Bluetooth, plus there's a built-in camera for taking snaps.
It's all come as a bit of a surprise to us admittedly, but we still hope to have a review sample shortly for a closer look.
