Gigabyte Booktop M1022C preview review - the 10.1in netbook with a hi-res screen and docking station

UPDATE: read our full Gigabyte Booktop M1022C review now.
The 10.1in netbook market is a little boring as every model from every manufacturer has basically the same specification. Thankfully, Gigabyte is here to do something different with its M1022C. Due on sale in April, we've got our hands on the very first one.
The first thing to note is that although it has a 10.1in screen, it doesn't have the usual 1,024x600 screen resolution. Instead, it's got a 1,366x768 display. This means that there's more desktop space for Windows 7 Starter Edition and every dialog box fits on the screen without dropping off the bottom. It's the first and only netbook with a 10.1in screen to have this resolution and we now hope that other manufacturers follow suit.
The other big difference is that this netbook ships with a docking station. The laptop plugs in vertically and charges automatically. Two power adaptors are included, so you can use one for the docking station and one for travelling with.
Just what I've been waiting for!
I have an Advent 4211 (MSI Wind U100 clone) which is a little darling, its only shortcoming (for my purposes) is the low-res screen. I've had experience with Gigabyte in years gone by so now I feel my credit card tingling with anticipation. Keep it under £300, please.
