Belkin Wireless Notebook Network Card review

Verdict:

Review Date: 29 May 2002

Price when reviewed: (£80)

Reviewed By: Paul Sanders

Our Rating 4 stars out of 5

Wireless 802.11b cards let you network your home without pulling up carpets.

You need one card per notebook, and desktops will need the PCI adapter too. Two cards exchanged 33.2Mb of assorted files in 125 seconds - well below the theoretical maximum, but quick enough. Clear software; reasonable price.
