Our Rating
Now that almost every modern computer peripheral connects via USB it's all too easy to find your computer swamped in a spaghetti-like morass of cables and with no spare ports to plug in your latest gadget.
The solution is a USB hub such as this Belkin model, which packs seven USB2 ports into a unit that looks smart enough for any desk. It uses its own power supply to feed attached devices, and its clever design includes five USB ports unobtrusively hidden on the back and two facing upwards on the top; these are ideal for thumb drives or Bluetooth dongles. Two hubs can be stacked on top of each other if you need even more connectivity options. A smart, functional product at a reasonable price.
