Our Rating
Attach this gadget to your printer's USB port and you can send it print jobs via Bluetooth, but not USB any more.
It's akin to a WiFi print server but half the cost and allows direct printing without an always-on host PC. It requires Bluetooth and a printer driver on any device you print from, which rules out mobile phones, but Belkin provides the Printboy driver bundle so you can print email, Word and spreadsheet documents from Pocket PC and Palm handhelds to many printers (see www.bachmann software.com). The quoted range of 100m was more like 15m using an iPAQ. WiFi is a better standard, but this is cheaper and works fine. Consider a more versatile £90 Bluetooth access point, though.
