The 3Com OfficeConnect Wireless Print Server is cheaper than the Linksys system reviewed above, but doesn't come with USB or network cables.

Both are required, as the server must be configured over a wired connection. Features and performance are similar to the Linksys system. The business-like installation guide is easy to follow, but less user-friendly.

The dinky OfficeConnect can access open networks and those encrypted using WEP or WPA. It supports infrastructure or ad hoc mode, but may not work seamlessly with all proprietary fast wireless standards. Overall, we prefer the Linksys, but the OfficeConnect does the same job.
