This Wi-Fi PCI card has everything you could ask for.
Its simple to install; it supports both of the main security standards - WEP and WPA - and it comes with comprehensive documentation. The Wireless Turbo PCI Adapter transferred our test files in 1 minute and 32 seconds - only the Buffalo and 3Com did better. It's more than fast enough for streaming Internet, and for more demanding jobs like streaming music and video. But it's not as fast as the Mercury, and is more than twice the price. If you need to add wireless capability to a desktop PC, get the Mercury and use our walkthrough on page 89 to get it working.
