Belkin F5D7231UK4 review
Belkin's router is rated at 125Mbit/s in high-speed mode, but as with all wireless devices its actual performance falls well short of this.
It performed well in our 5m and 1m tests, running at over 10Mbit/s both with its own network adaptor and using our Centrino notebook. However, it couldn't provide a stable connection in our 10m test, where it ran at just 2.5Mbit/s. It was also the only router that failed to connect at 25m, despite having two built-in antennas.
The F5D7231UK4 doesn't support MAC address spoofing or Dynamic DNS but includes every other feature we would expect.
Sadly, there's little to recommend the Belkin. It's not the cheapest device in our test and performs very badly over long distances.
