D-Link's adaptor has a decidedly old-fashioned appearance, with a light grey protruding end that is unlikely to match the colour scheme of anyone's notebook.

It performed better than our Centrino notebook, transferring files at 12.9Mbit/s. Unfortunately, its speeds dropped off over longer distances. It failed to exceed 5Mbit/s in our 10m and 25m tests. It's reasonably priced, but the Asus is a better choice at a similar price.
