Netgear WPN511 review

Verdict:

Review Date: 21 Jul 2005

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Our Rating 3 stars out of 5

Netgear's RangeMax equipment performed well in all our tests. The only surprise was that it didn't perform significantly better than Netgear's own, cheaper 108Mbit/s products.

The WPN511 ran at up to 12.2Mbit/s when connected to the RangeMax router. It performed well in all our distance tests, running at around 10Mbit/s throughout. It's a good card, but the faster Linksys products don't cost much more.
