Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 4-Port Hub for Mac mini review

Verdict:

Review Date: 26 Jun 2006

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Reviewed By: Alan Lu

Our Rating 3 stars out of 5

Belkin's space-saving four-port USB hub is designed to sit under a Mac mini. It also sits snugly under Evesham's MiniPC, which is similar in size.

There are two USB2 ports on the front and another two located on the rear. Belkin has included a short 1" USB cable for connecting the hub to your computer to help minimise cable tangle.

If saving space is your primary concern, Belkin's hub is a good choice, but it is expensive. For just £5 more you can have an equally small Belkin USB and FireWire hub. If you're not concerned with saving space, a regular-sized seven-port USB2 hub costs as little as £20 including VAT.
