Hyundai Imagequest launches nippy gamer screens 11:15AM, Monday 7th March 2005
Hyundai Imagequest has lined up two new high-end LCD displays, which - with a response time of 8 milliseconds - are suitable for gamers.

The L72D and L72S are 17in displays with a 700:1 contrast and horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 40 degrees. The L72D supports both digital and analogue inputs and the L72S analogue only.

'Because IT has become so commonplace in all aspects of our lives, gamers are now looking to invest in technology that helps them stand out from the crowd,' said Jan Karlsson, Regional Manager, Hyundai Imagequest. 'Our new monitors' combination of high speed and outstanding image quality gives them a market appeal to high-end gamers yet with the level of exclusivity that makes them highly desirable.'

In a bid for exclusivity, Hyundai Imagequest is marketing the displays as limited editions - the L72D and L72S will only be made available for three months, starting from this month. While the L72D is priced at £269 (including VAT), the price of the L72S has yet to be confirmed.
