Fools rush in!

Having read the review for this Eclipse PC in Computer Shopper and then again on this site, I impulsively ordered one on a cold and miserable December Thursday afternoon. To my horror I then stumbled across a whole load of bad feedback about Eclipse (poor aftersales, customer relations etc) and my excitement and anticipation turned to disapointment and trepidation. Just 6 days later a large carton turned up with my PC, but fearing the worst, I imagined this to be just the start of my woes. However, I was surprised by the quality of packaging (a box within a larger outer carton) and the PC was in pristine condition with all the manuals, driver discs and Windows disc in a nice folder (very neat!) along with a copy of my order, the invoice and a quality control check-list. Things were definitely looking up and on switching on I found the machine virtually ready to use, after a quick Windows update and a bit of tweaking. All in all I was very pleasantly surprised by the presentation of this product and I hope it is a sign that Eclipse are paying as much attention to the product itself (delivery/quality/presentation etc) as they are to their sales & marketing. I can't comment on their aftersales but I can say that the computer I have received, more than lives up to my original expectations.
