Lenovo announces all-in-one PC

Lenovo has announced a new all-in-one PC, the ThinkCentre A70z.
Lenovo has released all-in-one desktop PCs before, but the most recent models, such as the IdeaCentre A series, haven't been available in the UK. The new ThinkCentre A70z will be available in the UK from the end of November. The exact price will depend on the configuration you choose, but prices start at £410 inc VAT.
The A70z has a rather plain and boxy black design, but it does blend in with other Lenovo desktop PCs and laptops. It comes with an easel-like stand, but optional VESA-compatible stands are available, such as a more flexible stand that can be tilted and swivelled easily as well as a wall mount. Lenovo also claims that the A70z's components are more easily accessible and replaceable compared with other all-in-one PCs.
The 19in widescreen display has a 16:10 aspect ratio. A DVD writer is built-in and there are six USB ports, but integrated wireless networking is optional. The exact processor, amount of RAM and hard disk space available depends on the configuration you choose, but Lenovo will offer a choice of Celeron Dual Core and Core 2 Duo processors.
Lenovo's ThinkCentre A70z looks like a promising all-in-one PC, but it faces increased competition from other manufacturers, such as Dell, who have also released affordable all-in-one PCs. We'll bring you a full review as soon as we can.
