How to order Yoyotech's Warbird i650cs PC
Posted on 9 Feb 2010 at 10:28
Some of our readers have been having difficulty ordering the Best Buy award winner from the PC group test in Shopper 266.
Yoyotech's Warbird i650cs appears to be listed as out of stock when you visit the company's website. This is because Yoyotech builds its systems to order, with a lead time of around a week. Here's how to order yours; there are two methods.
If you want to see how long you'll have to wait for the PC to ship, go to the order page at http://www.yoyotech.co.uk/item-detail.php?products_id=3573750, then click Upgrade. You'll be taken to a page where you can add extra components. A floating window along the side bar will list the predicted shipping time and provide a Buy Now link - click that to order.
The second ordering option is more simple, but doesn't give you an immediate indication of how long you'll have to wait for your PC. Once again, go to http://www.yoyotech.co.uk/item-detail.php?products_id=3573750. Click on the Preorder link to add it to your shopping basket. Once your order is complete, someone should be in touch to advice you of an estimated time of arrival.

Well it must have changed since this was written as there is no floating window or buy now link, even the pre-order button has disappeared. There is no way to buy this set-up.

Update
The floating 'buy it' box has now appeared. Apparently it wasn't showing up for people running at 1024x768. This appears to be fixed now.
