Dell Dimension 8200 review

Verdict:

Review Date: 19 Mar 2002

Price when reviewed: (£1,499)

Reviewed By: Karl Wright

Our Rating 6 stars out of 5

Overall

The Dell Dimension's design is a real eye-opener. Other PC manufacturers could learn a thing or two from Dell about making PCs easy to work on, even for the relatively uninitiated. Crucially, however, it also delivers on performance. There's no point in having a PC that looks great and is easy to upgrade, but has all the speed of a geriatric doing doggy paddle in a pool of porridge. Fortunately, that's not the case here - this PC is nippier than Road Runner. With all that speed and style up its sleeve, the Dell wins our hearts this month.
