Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch review

Verdict:

Review Date: 26 Jun 2006

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Our Rating 4 stars out of 5

Many people have more than one PC at home. The second PC is often a dedicated media or file server, to which you need access only occasionally. With Belkin's 2-Port KVM Switch, you can control two PCs using a single monitor, keyboard and mouse.

This product works with USB keyboards and mice, so you need spare ports on both PCs; Belkin also makes a PS/2 version. Switch control from one PC to another by simply pressing the switch on the unit. Alternatively, it can be controlled using the supplied software in Windows.

In testing it worked fine, with only a slight delay when switching. It feels well made and comes with a three-year warranty. It's a great product for controlling two PCs.
