Logitech G25 review

Verdict:

Our Rating 4 stars out of 5

Logitech's G25 is easily the most expensive steering wheel here, but you can see where the extra cash has gone.

The wheel itself is leather covered, so you can get a good grip. It also has the biggest turning circle and it clamps to the desktop very securely.

There are only two buttons and two paddles on the wheel, but the separate gearstick unit has plenty more. The gearstick can be switched between two systems: one that allows you to change up and down, and one with six selectable gears. There are even three pedals, so you can use a clutch if you want. All the pedals are firmly sprung and the base doesn't slip backwards when used.

This wheel was our favourite to use. It's easier to turn than Thrustmaster's RGT, so it's less tiring over long sessions. The force feedback is well judged, kicking in when you expect it to rather than constantly fighting you for control. It is the best wheel here, but it's too expensive.
