Apple sued over Mighty Mouse moniker

A manufacturer of liquid-resistant mice and keyboards is suing Apple over the computer company's use of the Mighty Mouse brand.
US-based Man & Machine claims that it has been using the name Mighty Mouse for its waterproof optical mouse since March 2004. Apple unveiled its nippled creation in August 2005.
Man & Machine is seeking a permanent injunction to prevent Apple using the brand name.
"Because of Apple's size, fame and large advertising budget, Apple's use of the Mighty Mouse trademark has and will continue to overwhelm M&M's use of its Mighty Mouse trademark and will cause M&M to lose the value of that trademark," the Maryland court filing reads.
Man & Machine is also suing CBS, which it says improperly licensed the name to Apple. CBS owns the rights to the Mighty Mouse cartoon character.
