Our Rating
At just under £10, Octigen's wireless keyboard and mouse set is the cheapest in the group.
It has a simple design, and both keyboard and mouse feel well made. The set comes with rechargeable batteries for the keyboard and mouse, but they were flat when the set arrived, so you'll need spares or a charger handy.
The sleek mouse is comfortable to hold and fairly accurate, but its buttons feel spongy. The keyboard doesn't flex, but the keys are further apart than usual, which takes some getting used to. They also have a squishy action, which doesn't make typing particularly comfortable.
The space above the function keys is covered with short cut buttons. These let you move back and forward in web pages, control your media files, go straight to your images and launch My Computer and the calculator.
If you plan to do lots of typing you should avoid Octigen's set. Otherwise, it's a reasonable basic keyboard at a very low price.
