Genius TwinTouch 750e Laser review
Genius's TwinTouch 750e is the second-cheapest wireless keyboard and mouse set here.
It's packed with features, though. The keyboard is covered with short cut buttons for launching your browser, email client or messenger program, controlling media playback, zooming in and out in applications, searching for files and engaging Vista's Flip 3D feature. When you adjust the volume or launch applications the result is shown on the screen in luminous green, as on a TV, which is a pleasing touch. Unlike with Logitech's LX710, you can't adjust what the buttons do, however.
The laser mouse is comfortable to hold but very inaccurate and erratic. The keyboard's keys have plenty of travel and well-judged feedback, but its base flexes as you type and the spacebar wobbles.
This is an inexpensive keyboard and mouse set with some useful software. Sadly, neither the keyboard nor the mouse are particularly pleasant to use. Logitech's LX710 is far better.
