Trust Vista Remote Keyboard review
Trust's Vista Remote Keyboard is one of two Windows Media Center-orientated keyboards here. It's designed to be used on your lap, so it has a track ball instead of a mouse.
The track ball works better than the touch stick on Genius's Media Cruiser. It feels grainy but is accurate and easy to use. The left and right-click buttons are on the keyboard's shoulders, which feels natural when holding the keyboard but is useless when it's on a desk.
Short cut buttons jump to the various parts of Media Center, such as music or DVD playback. Unfortunately, unlike on the Genius keyboard, there's no back button and the vertical scroll wheel doesn't click to select menu options. The keyboard's keys have long travel, but the spacebar is tiny.
Trust's Vista Remote Keyboard is good value and its trackball works well, but Genius's Media Cruiser and KeySonic's Wireless-Mini keyboards are better to use with Media Center.
